Patient Navigation Service
Being diagnosed with a brain tumor is one of the most frightening health issues that any person could be confronted with. Given the variety of brain tumor types and the complexity of treatment options, a patient and their family can easily be overwhelmed with the amount of information and treatment decisions that they will be presented with by their health care team.

One of the resources the DCBTF provides is access to a health care professional who can act as a resource and liaison for patients and families diagnosed with a brain tumor. This service is not meant to act in place of the patients treatment team but rather to provide another outlet for patients and their families to help understand their diagnosis and explain their treatment options.
